“The WeInspire program is targeted towards youngsters to develop the skills in leadership qualities. The mentors are assigned to one-on-one discussions and these help the kids to spend time with the mentors to ask questions and clarify answers... I’m thankful to all the mentors who dedicate their time to bring the future leaders.”

As one of the first students in this program, I can say that I have positively benefited from going through this curriculum. My leadership and communication skills grew tremendously throughout my time here, and the directors of this program provided us with valuable first-hand professional and industry knowledge. Personally, I believe the most impactful part of this program was my growth towards refining my professional skills and being able to identify my career goals. From the start of the program, we clearly set aside 3 immediate, short-term and long-term goals and detailed exactly what steps we would take to achieve them. The program was designed so that with each goal accomplished, we would end up one step closer to our long-term goal and ultimately lead us to become well-rounded successful individuals. When I started the program, I did not have a clear sense of what I wanted to do professionally, but the mentors helped guide and direct us and one of the most beneficial aspects is their ability to connect us with the right people outside of the program which helped me gain experience and insight into what I eventually realized I wanted to do. We were connected as a group with individuals such as Tony Robbins and other successful life coaches and entrepreneurs, and the takeaway from every one of those sessions was invaluable and definitely hard to have come by if not for this program. They also provided us with one-on-one individual coaching and assigned us to a mentor whose perspective and career would benefit each one of us the most. All in all, this program truly changed me for the better and I can proudly say I was able to hone skills that I already had, while kick-starting my professional goals and growing as a person.

WeInspire has sculpted my youth years. The experience at a young age to know the value of mentors, set personal goals, and enhance our public speaking skills has helped us to stand out. One thing that really helps me is having the weekly mentor calls with Arun Uncle to ensure that I am on track with my goals, grades, and achievements. I have been able to get amazing connections through these calls such as professionals from Lockheed Martin and I am even in the process of getting involved in internships. I have been able to achieve my goals with the help of Arun Uncle especially with improving my public speaking skills. The mentorship and the monthly sessions definitely put me out of my comfort zone to make sure that my goal to get better at effective communication was achieved.
